Django Gold first joined the Running Late family in January 2012, picking up guitar duties for The Musical Guests on what was just the third show in franchise history. 11 months and 17 shows later, that shy, gangly young man has proved himself a versatile virtuoso, holding down the piano and filling in on guitar or bass when needed, while blossoming into a shy, gangly, slightly older man. In January 2013, Django will be taking his talents to South Side (Chicago) — not his musical chops, but his fake news crafting skills. He has been offered a fellowship by America’s Finest News Source, and while we’re sad to see him go, we wish him well in his deep-dish future.
